We are currently looking for an engineering technician/materials inspector who will be involved with field observation, inspecting and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt placement.
Daily communication is required with site contractors, other technicians and project managers. This technician should have the knowledge and ability to perform observations, inspections and tests of construction projects and to document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practice.
Following inspections, the individual will be expected to turn in daily, weekly and monthly reports to verify the data collected in the field.
– 2+ Years of Experience (Recent)
– Field/Lab Experience
– Residential, Commercial or Industrial Experience
– Certifications (ACI + ICC Certification Preferred)
– Soils and Concrete Experience Needed
– Self Motivated
– Ability to work with little to no supervision
– Ability to drive company vehicle
– Strong Written + Verbal Communication Skills
– Intermediate Level Computer Skills
Other Certifications Include:
– HAZMAT
– Nuke Gauge
– NC DOT
– ICC (Structural, Concrete Masonry etc..)

This position will be responsible for determining precise locations and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas and contours for construction, mapmaking, land divisions and titles.
This position is open until filled. This is a full time position.
Candidate should have NO LESS than THREE years of relevant experience performing the following task efficiently.
-Research for boundary surveys, ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys, Topographic surveys, Utility surveys.
-Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control and the collection of survey data.
-Maintain accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performance. -Coordinate findings of work with office staff or other as needed. -Responsible for job specific quality system tasks.
-Complete each job as necessitated by budget constraints without making multiple trips.
-Construction Staking
-Down/Upload data, bring points into Civil 3D, together with manipulation of points, along with necessary drafting such that an engineer/licensed surveyor can complete legal analysis and survey plat.
-Calculate preliminary coordinates for surveys along with final calculations for lot surveys.
-Random drug test may be required.
-Must be capable of working on your own in the field at a fast pace.
Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with a good record, be in excellent health capable of navigating difficult terrain as necessitated by various projects.

We are currently seeking a Professional Engineer Licensed in Civil. This position is open until filled. It is a full time position.
This position will be responsible for the engineering projects that are based in our Idaho Falls office, soliciting work, attending appropriate meetings, reviewing engineering department billing and invoices.
The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience after licensure.
It is preferable to have Project and office manager experience.
Knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly preferred. Other programs such as Micro Station, Water Cad etc. are a plus.
